One October day in Juche 103 (2014), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un looked round newly-built solar-heated greenhouses during his visit to the completed Wisong Scientists Residential District.
He pointed out the advantages of the solar-heated greenhouses, saying that they were built well in the residential district.
At a cabbage plot at the entrance to greenhouse No. 1, he personally touched the cabbage leaves, saying with pleasure that the cabbage farming was good and the plants had large heads. At a radish plot fringed by turfs, he feasted his eyes on the full-grown radishes.
Saying that the vegetable plots resemble experimental ones of a vegetable institute, he expressed satisfaction over the peculiar scene that there is a pathway in the lawn and there are vegetable plots between pathways.
He asked the accompanying officials to supply various kinds of fresh vegetables to scientists and set an example in the production of greenhouse vegetables.
More conspicuous are the vegetable plots in the green areas of the residential district, he said with pleasure, adding that many beautiful scenes have been created in the course of building the Wisong Scientists Residential District.
