Report on Operational Preparations for Reconnaissance Satellite from Pyongyang General Control Centre of NATA Received
Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, received a report on the preparation for the operation of reconnaissance satellite made between November 25 and 28 from the Pyongyang General Control Centre of the National Aerospace Technology Administration (NATA) on the morning of November 27 and in the early morning of November 28.
The fine-tuning process of the satellite is being hastened to end one or two days earlier by the control means and system of the Pyongyang General Control Centre of the NATA.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un saw the satellite photos of Rome of Italy taken at 17:56:28 on November 25 (Pyongyang Time) and Anderson Air Force Base taken above Guam in the Pacific at 09:17:07 on November 27 (Pyongyang Time) and those of other regions taken for trial.
He also received in detail satellite photos of the Norfolk Naval Station, the Newport News Dockyard and an airfield of Virginia, US, taken at 23:35:53 on November 27 (Pyongyang Time) and the White House and the Pentagon of Washington and other objects at 23:36:25 on November 27 (Pyongyang Time).
Four US Navy nuclear carriers and one British aircraft carrier were spotted in the photos of the Norfolk Naval Station and the Newport News Dockyard.
Expressing his great satisfaction at the successful preparations for the operation of the reconnaissance satellite “Malligyong-1” before the start of its official mission, he highly appreciated the NATA once again in the name of the Party Central Committee.
