The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is making devoted efforts to increase grain production of the country so as to solve the food problem for the people.
One August day in Juche 109 (2020), he inspected a county in South Hwanghae Province to learn about the damage from typhoon.
He had already taken measures for minimizing crop damage in the county after receiving the report on it. But he was so worried about the situation that he made his way to the spot to see it personally.
After acquainting himself with farming at a farm, he was briefed on other farms that suffered severer damage, and asked the leading official of the county to go there.
The official asked him to refrain from doing so, as the places were all swampy fields.
Noting that he did not come there to see slightly damaged fields alone, Kim Jong Un said he should go there, even if the road was muddy.
Walking along the muddy road at a farm that suffered severer damage, he specified even the way to increasing the weight of 1 000 grains of damaged crops.
That day, he learned in detail about typhoon damage for hours until darkness fell, and took measures to clear it away.
