In September Juche 101 (2012), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the family of a worker couple who had moved into a house in Changjon Street newly built in the capital city of Pyongyang.
Noting that as it is a Korean traditional custom to bring a box of matches when visiting a newly-moving house, he had brought matches for them, and presented them with a TV set, dish sets and books for children.
Filling glasses with liquor for the couple in congratulation of their house moving, he asked them to drink it.
After a while, he looked round every corner of the house, including a children’s room, bathroom and kitchen, repeatedly asking them if they had any inconvenience.
He saw their second son’s drawing book page by page, and heard the eldest son’s determination to become a footballer. Before leaving, he had a souvenir photo taken with the family members.
He reminded them of their own mother who came to see her children who had moved into a new house.
