One day in October Juche 98(2009), Chairman Kim Jong Il visited the new houses built in the Mansudae Street.
Entering a house to look about the kitchen smartly tiled on its floor and wall, he opened the kitchen cabinet.
He looked into it carefully and said quietly there was no hole inside.
The Chairman told officials that it is needed to make holes for moisture to go out, as food would get rotten inside, provided it was made airtight.
Making holes in a kitchen cabinet appears to be a trivial matter in a sense. But it narrates his loving care was so much affectionate as parents coming round to see their sons and daughters who managed their independent household affairs after marriage.
