A Matter of Deep Concern

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea set November 16 as Mother’s Day in Juche 101 (2012).

In September Juche 101 (2012), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Floricultural Institute. Feasting his eyes on beautiful flowers in full bloom, he said mothers would be happy when they receive flowers on November 16. One day in November when Mother’s Day was just around the corner, he asked an official concerned to design and print congratulatory letters for Mother’s Day well like New Year greeting postcards and sell them to the people.

Thanks to the deep concern of Kim Jong Un who personally set Mother’s Day and ensured that the whole country marked it as an auspicious day, mothers in the DPRK lead a happy life, celebrating the day significantly every year.
