April 3 Juche 69(1980) is the day when the Law on Public Health was adopted in the DPRK.
The Law on Public Health is the most advanced and popular code that highlights all the principles and needs in all ways for further consolidation and development of the country`s health system and sufficient solution of health issues.
Having witnessed the reality of the DPRK, many foreigners praised that the universal free medical care system of the DPRK is a great policy to be administered only in the ideal society of mankind. Free medical care system is the true image of the DPRK and its health system is the global model.
