Monument at Motion
One day in April Juche 71(1982), the president of a country was on a visit to the DPRK. He had ever happened to look out on the Tower of Juche Idea with deep interest erected high on the bank of Taedong River and asked his guide if its torch would flame at night.
Having heard it flames every night, the president was much excited.
That night he came out to the balcony of the guest house and looked out on the Tower of Juche Idea again.
Looking out on the Tower for a while, he told an official that “the monument at motion in this world is only the Tower of Juche Idea.”
Afterwards, the president had an opportunity to meet the delegates from the DPRK who were on a visit to his country. After he asked them whether the torch of the Tower still kept flaming, he revealed his true feeling saying that “the torch of Juche is sure to flame on in the future, as it is the tower that represents the immortal Juche idea of President Kim Il Sung.”
