Being the First to Vote for Worker

A polling day came on November 3 Juche 35(1946) for electing delegates to provincial, city and county people`s committees of north Korea.

At 10:00 that day when the whole country was excited over the happy event, President Kim Il Sung came out to a polling station in Pyongyang.

Greatly pleased to see that the candidate was a worker representative, he told officials it was very nice that everyone would exercise sovereign power by participating in elections with right to vote.

After receiving a ballot he cast it for the candidate.

It was a defining moment in the first democratic elections for the great leader revered by the whole nation to be the first to vote for a worker candidate, an ordinary citizen who had been badly off and maltreated in the past.
