The participants in the 2nd General Meeting of Members of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun to pay homage to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on September 8.
After paying respects to the great leaders with boundless reverence for them, they looked round different halls including the ones where the orders conferred on them are on display.
Thomas Karl Richter, member of the KKF, said that every time he visits the palace, he is overwhelmed by the feeling of solemnity and his reverence for President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il gets more intense especially whenever he looks at their photos on the walls of the corridor. They are great men recognized and revered by the world, he added.
Zhu Jinghao, another member of the KKF, said:
“While visiting the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun today, I realized more keenly that President Kim Il Sung and H.E. Kim Jong Il were really great men.
“I was touched by the fact that H.E. Kim Jong Il set out on his field guidance tour in October 2011 despite his declining health. Presidents of other countries must have undergone medical treatment in their villas or at hospitals.
“He is the greatest man who devoted his all to his people, regarding them as his God.”
