Working people from all parts of society, youth and students and service personnel visited Mansu Hill where the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il stand with boundless reverence for them on the occasion of the 71st founding anniversary of the DPRK.
A basket of flowers sent by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was placed before the statues of the great leaders.
Baskets of flowers and bouquets were laid at the statues in the names of Party, military, government and social organs, ministries and national agencies, institutions, enterprises, factories and schools at all levels, units of the Korean People’s Army and Korean People’s Internal Security Forces and the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.
The visitors paid homage to the peerlessly great men before their statues, recollecting the immortal revolutionary career and exploits of the great leaders who developed the model of the times of the building of people-centred state power and laid the firm foundations for eternal prosperity of the country and nation with noble patriotic devotion.
