Members of the Korean Children’s Union significantly celebrated their holiday on June 6.
They laid baskets of flowers and bouquets at the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in all parts of the country and bowed to them.
Joint meetings of KCU organizations were also held in provinces, cities and counties to mark the anniversary.
There were a concert of the National Symphony Orchestra, performance of schoolchildren “Three million KCU members grow under DPRK flag”, the national children’s science fictions and models exhibition-2019, the 6th national children’s football games and other events in Pyongyang.
Art performances were given, and sports and amusement games of KCU members played in schools across the country in celebration of the holiday.
