Torch Procession of Young Vanguard Held

Young people held torchlight procession “Young people, forward, demonstrating the valiant mettle of heroic Korea!” on September 10 at Kim Il Sung Square in Pyongyang to celebrate the 70th birthday of the DPRK.

Open limousines carrying the red flags bearing the beaming images of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il entered the square, escorted by young people holding torches in their hands.

Young people including students depicted with torches such large letters as “Kim Il Sung’s nation” and “Kim Jong Il’s Korea” and the figure of the sun with the feeling of boundless reverence for the great leaders who solved the problem of youth perfectly for the first time in history and built a youth power, the one and only in the world, by administering the unique politics of giving priority to and loving the youth.

The torchlight procession was crowned by the portrayal of large letters “Glory to Marshal!” reflecting the best wishes of all Koreans towards Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, the symbol of mightiness of socialist Korea and the banner of invincibility, and a fireworks display.
