A national meeting was held at Pyongyang’s May Day Stadium on September 9 to celebrate the 70th birth anniversary of the DPRK.
Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un attended the meeting.

The speaker said that the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is an ever-victorious socialist state with glorious 70-year-long history, inexhaustible national power and rosy future and the miraculous victories registered in the history of the DPRK and all the wealth created on this land are closely associated with the patriotic devotion of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who energetically led the great cause of building a thriving country till the last moments of their lives.
The DPRK has greeted the era of all-round efflorescence in the building of a powerful socialist country under the leadership of the Supreme Leader, he noted, calling for working hard for the buildup of the DPRK and the final victory of the socialistic cause, rallied firmly behind the great Party.
Similar meetings also took place in all provinces, cities and counties.
