Joint Meeting of KCU Organizations Held

A joint national meeting of Korean Children’s Union organizations was held in celebration of its 72nd founding anniversary in the plaza of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on June 6.

Invited there were Choe Hwi, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Vice-Premier Jon Kwang Ho, Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission, officials concerned and youth league officials. And it was attended by delegates to the KCU’s 72nd anniversary celebrations and schoolchildren in Pyongyang.

In front of the beaming images of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il the participants paid homage to the great leaders who made a history of ennobling love for the future and younger generations on this land and devoted their all to the rising generations.

Then keynote and other speeches were made.

Speakers called on all KCU members to fully prepare themselves as competent revolutionary personnel and reliable reserve for building a powerful socialist country who are knowledgeable, morally impeccable and physically strong, and dynamically advance as they fly high the KCU flag under the leadership of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, cherishing deep in their minds the pride of being members of the children’s union which shines with the names of the President and the Chairman, the children’s organization of the Supreme Leader.
