An art troupe of the DPRK led by Kwon Hyok Bong, department director of the Ministry of Culture, and Hyon Song Wol, head of the Samjiyon Symphony Orchestra, came back on February 12 after successfully completing its program of congratulatory performances for the 23rd Winter Olympics.
The troupe left Seoul on February 12 and came back via Kaesong around 11:00.
It was greeted by senior officials of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, including Kim Yo Jong, first deputy-department director of the WPK Central Committee, and officials of the Ministry of Culture.
Its performances given in Kangnung and Seoul of south Korea before full houses in celebration of the 23rd Winter Olympics deeply impressed the fellow countrymen aspiring after national reconciliation and unity, evoking lively response among the people from all walks of life.
