The Russian committee for revering the great persons of Mt Paektu was set up in Moscow on July 17 Juche 106 (2017) as mankind’s immense feeling of respect grows for President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by personages of the Russian government, political parties and organizations and the DPRK ambassador to the country and his embassy staff members.
The ceremony elected V. A. Petrov, chairman of the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, as chairman of the committee and Utkin, president of the Jetronik Co., Ltd. and member of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation, as vice-chairman.
An inaugural ceremony of the committee for revering the great persons of Mt Paektu was held in Abuja, Nigeria, on August 5 Juche 106 (2017).
Damian Ogbonna, national chairman of the People’s Progressive Party of Nigeria, was elected as chairman of the committee at the ceremony that drew personages of different political parties, organizations and institutions of Nigeria and the DPRK ambassador to the country and his embassy staff members.
The committee decided to conduct positive activities to publicize the undying exploits of the great persons of Mt Paektu.
