On the occasion of the Day of the Sun children, students and aged people of the rest homes across the country received sweets and cakes, clothes, school things, foods and others as gifts.
All people were deeply impressed by the love and affection of the Supreme Leader who takes paternal care of the children all over the country, ranging from the capital city of Pyongyang to the remote mountain villages in the northern highland and those on the outlying islands.
Students at the revolutionary schools such as Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School hardly controlled tears welling up in their eyes as they remembered the same love shown by the peerless great persons of Mt. Paektu for the children of revolutionary martyrs.
They were also sent to orphanages, baby homes, primary schools and middle schools for orphans and rest homes across the country on the same occasion.
The old people at the rest homes offered their thanks to the Supreme Leader who always cares for them so that they can lead a happy life enjoying due respect as revolutionary forerunners and seniors even in the old age of their life.
