The Swiss Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu, Switzerland-Korea Committee and Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on May 27 in support of the 4th inter-Korean summit meeting.
It said:
Upon receiving the news about the successful north-south summit meeting and talks in great joy and excitement, we extend sincere greetings of congratulation to Chairman Kim Jong Un of the DPRK State Affairs Commission, the Workers’ Party of Korea, the DPRK government and Korean people.
With the events as a momentum, a rosy prospect has opened in favour of the independent reunification of Korea and the establishment of a lasting peace mechanism.
It is a great and eye-opening event of global significance.
Korea is one!
We support peace, stability and prosperity, but oppose war!
Long live Chairman Kim Jong Un who is the lodestar of Korea’s reunification and the Sun of the nation!
