Officials, working people and service personnel of the Korean People’s Army laid flower baskets at the statues of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il to mark the 24th anniversary of Kim Jong Il’s election as general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Placed before the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill were flower baskets in the names of Party, power and armed forces organs, social organizations, ministries, national agencies, units of the KPA and the Public Security Forces and institutions, industrial establishments and universities at all levels in the capital city of Pyongyang.
The visitors made bows to the statues of the great leaders.
Flower baskets in the names of the KPA and PSF units, institutions and enterprises and bouquets were laid at the statues of the great leaders and their smiling portraits in different parts of the city, including Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of Public Security and the Mansudae Art Studio.
Officials, working people and KPA service personnel in other parts of the country also visited the statues of the great leaders and their smiling portraits in their residential areas to pay homage to them.
