Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, received a message of greetings from Ram Nath Kovind, president of the Republic of India, on September 7.
The message says:
On behalf of the Government, and the people of India and on my own behalf, I extend my heartiest felicitations to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on the occasion of your Foundation Day.
India and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea traditionally enjoy long-standing friendly and cordial relations. I am confident that these bonds of friendship between our two countries will continue to grow in future.
I convey my best wishes for Your Excellency’s good health and for the well-being and prosperity of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
