Waste Tyres Are Used in Sole Production

These days, the Sariwon Footwear Factory is lowering the cost of sole by making use of waste tyres and producing various kinds of shoes.

Its technicians remodelled the blades of waste rubber crusher to decrease the grain size of powdered waste tyre and manufactured screw-desulphurizing and aging machines so as to raise the utility rate of reclaimed rubber.

With a goal to produce the sole without using crude rubber, they invented and introduced a rational method for rough mastication to improve the physico-mechanical properties of the sole by waging a brisk technological innovation drive.

At present, the factory reduced the cost of sole by 40 percent by recycling waste tyres.
