People and service personnel of the Korean People’s Army visited the statues and smiling portraits of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in different parts of the country and paid tribute to them on the occasion of the Day of the Sun (President Kim Il Sung’s birth anniversary).
Baskets of flowers and bouquets were placed at the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang in the name of Party, government and armed forces organs, public organizations, ministries and national agencies, units of the Korean People’s Army and the Public Security Forces and institutions at all levels, industrial establishments and universities in Pyongyang.
The chief and members of the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-imperialist National Democratic Front laid a bouquet at the statues of the great leaders.
The visitors made a deep bow to the great leaders at their statues.
Flower baskets in the names of institutions and enterprises, KPA and PSF units were also placed before the statues of the great leaders and their smiling portraits in different parts of Pyongyang, including Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of National Defence, Ministry of Public Security Forces and the Mansudae Art Studio.
Officials, working people and servicepersons visited the statues of the great leaders and their smiling portraits in their residential areas to pay homage to them.
