Service personnel of the Korean People’s Army and working people laid flower baskets and bouquets at the statues of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in different parts of the country on the occasion of the Day of Army Founding.
Placed before the statues on Mansu Hill were bouquets and flower baskets in the names of Party, power and armed forces organs, public organizations, ministries, national agencies, units of the KPA and the Public Security Forces (PSF), and institutions, industrial establishments and universities at all levels in Pyongyang.
The visitors made a deep bow to the statues.
Flower baskets in the names of KPA and PSF units, institutions, enterprises, etc. were also laid at the statues of the great leaders and their smiling portraits in different places of Pyongyang, including Kim Il Sung Military University, the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Public Security and the Mansudae Art Studio.
Servicepersons and working people in other parts of the country visited the statues of the great leaders and their smiling portraits in their residential quarters to pay homage.
