Floral Tribute to Statues of Kim Jong Suk

Bouquets and flowers were laid at the statues of anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk on December 24 to mark her 103rd birth anniversary.

Officials, working people and service personnel of the Korean People’s Army in the capital city visited the bronze bust of Kim Jong Suk at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong and paid tribute to her bust.

The visitors observed a moment’s silence in memory of her noble life who devoted her all to the country and people with unfailing loyalty to President Kim Il Sung and the revolutionary cause.

That day, local officials, working people and KPA service personnel laid bouquets and flowers at the statues of Kim Jong Suk in Hoeryong City, Kim Jong Suk County and Kim Jong Suk Naval University and other places of the country, and made deep bows to her.
