Officials, working people and service personnel of the People’s Army visited the statues of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the mosaics of their smiling portraits in different parts of the country and paid floral tribute to them on the occasion of the 9th anniversary of the demise of Kim Jong Il.
An endless stream of visitors thronged the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill with reverence for them.
Placed before the statues on Mansu Hill were flower baskets and bouquets in the names of Party, government and armed forces organs, public organizations, ministries, national agencies, units of the Korean People’s Army and the Public Security Forces, and institutions, industrial establishments and universities at all levels in Pyongyang.
A basket of flowers in the name of the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front was laid there.
The visitors made deep bows to the statues of the great leaders.
Baskets of flowers in the names of KPA and PSF units, institutions and enterprises were also laid at the statues of the great leaders and their smiling portraits in different places of the capital city, including Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of Public Security and the Mansudae Art Studio.
