Forestry Sector Wraps up Repair from Natural Disasters

The forestry sector of the DPRK has restored to their original state tens of kilometres of logging roads and railways and tens of bridges destroyed by natural disasters so as to put transport of logs on a normal basis.

The Sinyang Forestry Station in North Hamgyong Province restored thousands of metres of railways and the Yonsa Forestry Station and the Hoeryong Mine Prop Production Station repaired over tens of kilometres of road.

South Hamgyong and Ryanggang provinces restored forest railways and are now taking measures to ensure timber production as suited to the winter condition.
