Remains of Martyrs Buried in Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri

Remains of martyrs were newly buried in the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri.

Among them are Sin Un Ho, ex-officer of the Korean People’s Army, Kang Jong Ho, former director of the Art Studio of the KPA, Jon Hui Jong, former vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Hong Si Hak, former councillor of the General Bureau of the Tanchon Area Mining Industry, Kim Chang Sop, former general of the KPA, DPRK Hero Ra Myong Hui, Son Chang Gu, former section-chief of the Korea General Red Cross Hospital, and Pyon Ung Hui, former architectural engineering researcher of the State Academy of Sciences, Jong Myong Hak and Pak Yun Gwan. They devoted themselves to the struggle for the prosperity of the country and the people’s well-being.

Ceremonies of burying their remains took place on December 3 and 4.

The participants in the ceremonies laid bouquets and flowers at their graves and observed a moment’s silence in memory of them.
