Art Performances Mark Mother’s Day

Major art troupes gave performances at theatres in the capital city on November 16 to mark Mother’s Day.

Working people in Pyongyang enjoyed the performances.

The Samjiyon Orchestra gave a performance at the Samjiyon Theatre on the bank of the Pothong River.

Put on the stage were male solo “Thought of Mother”, male trio “Happiness of Mother”, etc. Performers warmly congratulated mothers across the country.

The performance clearly showed that the embrace of the Workers’ Party of Korea which takes warm care of people across the country even in the face of manifold difficulties and disasters is the great mother’s embrace.

The National Symphony Orchestra gave a performance at the Moranbong Theatre.

Reflected in every piece was their gratitude to mothers who spare nothing for their children.

Put on the stage were cello concerto “Thought about the General” and orchestral music “World of Humane Affection” gripping the audience with boundless respect for the peerlessly great men.

The Mansudae Art Troupe gave a performance at the East Pyongyang Grand Theatre, bringing delight to the people on Mother’s Day.

That day, similar performances were also given at the National Theatre, Pyongyang Circus Theatre and Ponghwa Art Theatre.

The audience congratulated the performers with bouquets.
