New dwelling houses have been built in the damaged areas of Chundong-ri, Unho-ri and Sokho-ri in Kim Chaek City of North Hamgyong Province and Haksadae-ri in Riwon County of South Hamgyong Province.
Ceremonies for moving into new houses took place on the spot.
The ceremonies were attended by Commander Choe Hwi of Division No. 1 of the Party Members from the Capital City, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea; Commissar Ri Yong Sik, first deputy department director of the WPK Central Committee; Commander Jong Sang Hak of Division No. 2 of the Party Members from the Capital City, deputy department director of the WPK Central Committee; Ri Jong Nam, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the WPK; Kim Chol Sam, chairman of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the WPK; Kim Pong Yong and Pak Man Ho, chairmen of the two provincial people’s committees; commanding officers and combatants of the two divisions and officials and residents in the damaged areas in the two provinces.
Congratulatory speeches were made at the meetings.
House licenses were conveyed to the residents in the damaged areas amid loud applause.

A sea of pleasant dancing was unfolded to the tune of peasants’ music and the residents moved into new houses amid warm congratulations by officials, builders and shock-brigade members.
Commanding officers and members of the divisions of Party members from the capital city and officials from the provinces visited new houses to share the happy event with their owners.
