A ceremony of moving into new houses took place on October 9 in the disaster-stricken areas of Kaesong City, North and South Hwanghae provinces.
Upon receiving with delight a report on flood victims moving into new dwelling houses in the afflicted areas in Kaesong on the eve of October 10 (the founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea), Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un signed an autograph letter in which he asked to convey his wishes of happiness to all the families.
The ceremony was attended by Jang Yong Rok, chairman of the Kaesong City Committee of the WPK, officials in the city, residents in the afflicted areas and builders.
A congratulatory speech was delivered there.
House licenses were awarded to the residents amid big hands of participants.
Deeply moved to tears, the residents shouted hurrah at the top of their voices.
That day, similar auspicious events took place in Unpha, Singye, Phyongsan, Jangphung and Jaeryong counties in North and South Hwanghae provinces.
