President Moon Jae In and his wife visited the Mansudae Art Studio on September 19.
Visitors included Jong Ui Yong, chief of the State Security Office of the Blue House; Jo Myong Gyun, minister of Unification; Kang Kyong Hwa, minister of Foreign Affairs; Song Yong Mu, minister of Defense; To Jong Hwan, minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Kim Hyon Mi, minister of Land and Transport; So Hun, director of the National Intelligence Service; and other entourage.
Officials and employees of the studio greeted Moon Jae In and his wife with warm compatriotic feelings.
The president and his wife were deeply impressed to see Korean paintings, large Koryo celadon and masterpieces to be valued as national treasures while looking round the fine art piece exhibition hall.
Moon Jae In made an entry in the visitor’s book.
That day, Moon’s wife and some entourage also visited hobby group rooms of the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace and enjoyed an art performance.
